Legal Notices are given for numerous reasons and for numerous purposes.
Generally Legal notice is aimed to warn the addressee in abstaining
from doing that is illegal and unethical and persuading him to do
which he is legally obliged to do or follow. The legal notices are
like a two edged sword. These are to be drafted very carefully and
must be to the point. Sometimes a misdirected or badly drafted notice
destroy the case of the claimant/plaintiff. Therefore the prudence
demands that while you ask your attorney/lawyer to send a notice
on your behalf, you must be conversant with the facts of your transaction/matter/case,
so that while deciding to serve a notice upon the addressee you
are in a position to give unambiguous instructions to your attorney.
Suffice it to say that preciseness is the most lethal weapon one
employs while serving a notice to the addressee. There are numerous
notices, which are generally drafted and sent to the addressees
in matters of Intellectual property. Some of the a few notices,
